Q: Can I use my stock or modified ignition system with the EZ-EFI Adaptors?

Any ignition system can be used!  Distributor and coil, crank triggered and distributor, DIS, EDIS, etc.  It does not matter, they will all work with the adaptors.

Q: Will the air cleaners I have now, fit on the EZ-EFI Adaptors?

Yes. Any aircleaner, stock, aftermarket, or custom, which fits on a Corvair H or HV carburator,  will fit on the EZ-EFI Adaptors.

Q: Will the EZ-EFI Adaptors work in a wagon or FC with the limited clearance in the engine bay?

Yes.  Everything will fit without modifications to the engine bay.

 Q: Will  the EZ-EFI Adaptors work on a air conditioned Corvair?

Yes.  Everything will fit on a air conditioned Corvair, including the 1962-64 with the condenser over the engine.

Q: What kind of EFI computer is needed with the EZ-EFI Adaptors?

Any EFI computer can be used!  Use the EFI computer you like as they all will work with the adaptors.

Q: What other parts are needed to make an EFI system?

It will depend on what type of EFI system you will install on your engine.   Any  EFI system will require: fuel injectors, EFI computer, wiring harness, EFI fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator and a few sensors.

Q: Is a TPS neededwith the EZ-EFI Adaptors?

No. A Throttle Position Sensor is not needed with the EZ-EFI Adaptors but most EFI systems require a Throttle Position Sensor.  Check with your EFI system to see if you need a TPS . 

Q: Is a TPS included with the EZ-EFI Adaptors?

No. The EZ-EFI Adaptors are sold with out any extras parts which you may not need for your EFI installation.

Q: If my EFI system needs a TPS do you have one available?

Yes, a TPS kit is available.  This is easily installed on any Corvair engine.

Q: On the four carb engines you suggest coupling the primary and secondary throttle shafts together. Why? 

With EFI you can open all the throttle plates simultaneously as the fuel controlis much more presice than with a carburetor.  Opening the throttle plates together will give you improved mid range torque over the stock 140 linkage, which is progressive.

Q: Is a kit available for the 140 engine to make the throttle plates open at the same time.

Yes. A 140 direct linkage kit is available. 

Do you offer an complete EFI kit with the EZ-EFI Adaptors?

Yes!  We offer complete EFI kits and would be happy to design a kit based on your engine and your specific needs.  Just let us know.

Q: Are the EZ-EFI Adaptors in stock and ready to ship?

Not Always.  Due to the very specialized nature and custom machining of these parts, we batch requests and make a production run at one time.  This helps to keep the cost low on these unique parts.

Q: What is the cost of a pair of adaptors?

A pair of EFI Adaptors are $426.  This includes fuel rail and hold down hardware.  The price may change slightly on the next run depending on the price of aluminum.
