This performance Billet Fan Bearing Hub is CNC machined from Aircraft grade Aluminum which is lighter than a stock steel hub. The unique design and trademark precision of these parts offer many advantages over a stock steel hub for any application, being a Sunday driver or a weekend racer.
Easy and Fast Maintenance.
The unique design of the hub will allow you to change the bearings in minutes, not hours like a stock hub.
There is no modification to the engine, fan, top shroud or any other part of the engine. This billet hub installs just like a stock hub, but will be the last hub you ever replace on your engine.
Lighter Than Steel - Aircraft grade aluminum is lighter than steel and the construction of this hub allows for unique features. The light weight allows the driven fan assembly to react faster to engine loads and puts less load on your belt. The billet hub is 43% lighter than the stock hub in the total assembly weight. This billet hub is over 60% lighter than a stock in the driven mass.
Will Not Rust - A stock steel hub will often rust which, besides being unsightly makes removal of the fan very difficult.
Always Look Great - No rust or paint to flake or chip off. Beautiful machined surface will keep it’s great looks for the life of the pulley.
Will Run True. The axial center line of the bearing hub pulley is within .001” of the edge of the pulley mounting holes. The mounting holes for the fan are precision located. Stock hubs commonly have the mounting holes off set slightly due to production tolerances.
